Colorado at New York

The NY Yankees were shut-down last night against a solid pitcher, Ubaldo Jimenez, that after a stellar 2010 and a poor start to 2011, is finding the groove again. The same can't be said for Aaron Cook who missed most the early season and has made just three starts, allowing nine runs in 17 innings. Cook, in his last eight starts dating back to 2010, has not pitched more than 6.1 innings and that means the Yanks should get a look at the Rockies pen which is the fourth worst in the NL. CC Sabathia has not been on his game of late allowing 14 runs in his last three starts. The Rockies are 7-1 to the OVER when Cook pitches on extended five days rest and the Bombers now 20-8 to the OVER in Sabathia's last 28 starts. Colorado gets it done in interleague play. They are 5-2 this season and over the past three seasons, they are 10-1 vs. AL pitchers with an ERA of 3.50 or higher, 14-3 vs. AL teams batting .265 or worse, and 20-7 vs. AL teams that allow 4.7+ runs per game. I like Colorado +1.5 and the OVER in this one.
