It has been a tough season for the New York Mets, as they are a team that is rebuilding. They have had some success of late, as the pitching has been much better. Over their last 36 games, this has been a club that has been 2 games over .500. The Rockies looked to be a vastly improved team to start the season, and they hung in there for awhile. Their reality, however, has been determined by their last 48 games which has seen them go 17-31. The road has never been the team's strength, and as a road dog they stand at 21-49 in their last 70. The Mets have powered their way back from a loss, having now gone 15-6 in their last 21 when following a setback. Go with the Mets in this one.
