Mike Pelphrey and Jonathon Neise have not been able to shut down the Rockies in the first two games of this series. They have their best option going in game three today with R.A. Dickey on the mound. Dickey pitched to a 2.84 ERA last season and is out of the gate strong again. He has an advantage at home this afternoon against a Rockies lineup that did not see him all of last season. While the Mets are serving up their best option, the Rockies are presenting their worst with Greg Reynolds. Reynolds pitched to an 8.13 ERA a year ago in 13 starts. Although he had a reliable outing in his 2011 debut, it was against the soft-hitting Pirates. This one won't be so easy. The Mets get this one.
