Colorado at Minnesota

Perhaps the most unlikeliest of scenarios as we reach the quarter-poe in the MLB season is the fact that both Minnesota and Colorado lead their respective divisions. The Twins are 19-16, but lead the AL Central because no team there is playing up to expectations. The Twins have seen their pitching be highly suspect of late, allowing six or more runs in five of their last eight games. (9.8 runs in those five per game). Colorado is 25-15 and is generating nearly five runs per contest, and have scored seven or more runs in just about half their last 23 games. That is significant, because the Rockies have allowed more than seven runs in just one of their last 17 games. Moreover, the Rockies have yielded more than seven runs on the road just one time all season. That puts a good perspective on the dog, so make the play on Colorado.
