Ubaldo Jimenez has emerged as one of the top pitchers in baseball. The young right hander has already started 19 games where he allowed 2 runs or less on the season. He will face off against Hiroki Kuroda of the Dodgers. Kuroda has started 15 games on the season allowing 2 runs or less, so these pitchers have combined to work in 34 games with 2 runs or less scored by the opposition. It’s needless to say that runs will be at a premium in this one. The Rockies are not the same offense on the road, and have their ace on the hill. They have played 13-3 to the UNDER in their last 16 road games. They are also 8-1 to the UNDER when Jimenez starts vs. a team with a losing record. The Dodgers have played to an 18-5 mark to the UNDER when Kuroda pitches as an underdog. I'll go with the UNDER in this one.
