It almost seems unfair that the Detroit Tigers picked up David Price before the trade deadline. That gives the Tigers the last three Cy Young award winners in their current rotation. Then you throw in Rick Porcello who is 12-5 with a 3.24 ERA on the season, and Detroit looks like a strong choice to perhaps go the distance. The Rockies have a long history of road woes, where their staff has allowed 5.9 runs per game. The Tigers will be poised to top that in this one. The Tigers are 37-17-4 to the OVER in their last 58 home games vs. a left-handed starter, and that includes 24-8 in interleague contests. The Rockies have played seven of their last nine to the OVER in their last nine interleague games vs. a winning team. Take the OVER.
