Colorado at Atlanta

The Colorado Rockies and the Atlanta Braves will spend the rest of the season working toward improving their clubs for next season. For the Braves, that process began way back at the start of the season. Over the years, Colorado has had one of the poorest road resumes in MLB, and certainly are a different team on the road than they have been at home. Their team is tailored for Coors Field, and the pitching has always been suspect. Chad Bettis has had very little success at the major league level, as he has worked a total of 145 innings and pitched to a woeful ERA of 5.83. The Rockies are 11-43 in their last 54 on the road vs. a team with a winning home record, and the Braves have been good here this season at 33-24. Play on Atlanta.
