The Rockies are just 8-13 on the road this season while Arizona is 14-7 at home. The D-Backs are scoring a ridiculous 6.2 runs per game at home and they are 17-5 vs. division opponents thus far. While mired in a semi-slump, we like them at home today with Randy Johnson on the mound at a very reasonable price. Colorado is managing just 3.7 runs per game on the road. Jeff Francis hasn't been a shell of himself from last season. After a steller 2007 campaign, he is winless in 2008 with a 5.27 ERA. Johnson hasn't been good at all but his team is at home and their bats are much more alive. Backing him up is a very solid pen (3.41 ERA) and Colorado has really struggled vs. teams with good late pitching as the Rocks are just 4-12 this season vs. teams with a bullpen ERA under 3.80. Arizona is 59-35 vs. losing teams dating back to last season and 33-18 vs. teams allowing over 4.7 runs per game. We'll fade the Rockies here.
