Cleveland at Washington

This is the fourth straight road game for Cleveland, a team losing five of the last seven. They lost three in a row at home to the Twins as chalk, then went to Yankee stadium and lost two of three. The Indians are 15-36 in interleague road games vs. a team with a winning record. Cleveland starter Trevor Bauer (4.08 ERA) has been struggling, with the team dropping four of his last five starts. Bauer surrendered eight runs while walking five over 2.2 innings Wednesday, and was the losing pitcher in the 13-5 loss to the Twins. He has allowed 22 earned runs over his last 24 innings. Washington has won five of six and the Nationals are 10-4 against the AL Central. Washington has ace Max Scherzer (12-6, 2.87 ERA) going, who has not lost since July 4 and allowed three or fewer earned runs in each of his last seven starts.
