Is Carl Pavano finally healthy? The answer from his velocity and final spring start would be yes! And when he is healthy, he has proven to be a top of the rotation pitcher, and there may be value on him early in the season. Brandon McCarthy was once labeled a top prospect, but in his four big league seasons the pitcher that was expected to progress up the rotation ladder has never materialized for the Rangers. He is a career 13-20 pitcher and he has never had the command to be consistent, walking 106 in 275 big league innings. The Indians have potent bats, and the better pitcher here, so I'll back the Indians to get this one.
