Cleveland at Oakland

The Oakland A's got off to a horrific start, but have been better than their record would indicate since. They scored seven runs last night in LA, but the pitching simply didn't get it done, as they gave up 10 runs. The A's will be glad to get back home, and the 11-game homestand is going to seal their fate and determine if they have enough to contend. The Tribe salvaged a game yesterday in their seven-game homestand where they finished 1-6, and they were beaten badly in the six losses 37-10. The Tribe is just 3-13 in Carrasco's last 16 series openers, and just 1-8 in their last nine vs. a quality starter, with a WHIP of below 1.15. The Indians are just 3-7 in their last 10, and this is a pivotal homestand for the A's, and they should be focused in their homestand opener. Take Oakland.
