Cleveland at New York

The New York Yankees didn't make any huge deals before the trade deadline, but they did address some weak points with a lot of minor deals that have overall helped to strengthen this team. One of the pick-ups is Esmil Rodgers who has worked in a pair of games, pitching 4.1 innings and has not allowed a run earning him a start tonight. He won't be exposed long, and the Yankees have some solid length in the back of the pen to shut down offenses from the fifth or sixth inning on. The Indians were swept in three straight coming into this one, and they will go with Trevor Bauer. Bauer has had a decent season, but he has not shown the ability to deliver on the road where he owns a 1-4 record on the season while pitching to a 5.18 ERA. The Tribe have had fits at the Stadium where they are a pathetic 16-40 in their last 56 here. Only one way to go here - Yankees.
