The Angels’ slow start left them with a lot of work to do. They caught fire to push themselves back in the post-season conversation, but they had better be careful as they are looking nearly as bad as they did early. This is a team that is now 12-18 in their last 30 games and has dropped three straight, as the bats have gone cold again. The pitching has also gone south and five of the last six have resulted in losses as the Angels’ staff has allowed 41 runs or nearly 7 per contest. Zack Greinke has not found life back in the AL very kind, holding a 6.00 ERA in his three starts with the Halo's. Ubaldo Jimenez certainly has the stuff to put the brakes on a sluggish lineup, and the Tribe has been doing damage in the AL West where they are 6-1 in their last seven. The Angels come up short in anticipated pitching duels at 1-7 in their last eight with a total from 7 to 8.5. The Tribe is a confident 4-1 in their last five in this series, and will deal another blow to the Angels. Play on Cleveland.
