This is a hugely important game for the Royals. A loss puts a wild card birth very difficult to reach. I think KC gets this win to keep their hopes alive. Danny Salazar has been good, but he's only 1-2 on the season (0-2 on the road). Bruce Chen has been solid all season with a 3.11 ERA and a 7-3 mark. At home he's pitched to a 2.89 ERA. Backing him up is a great bullpen with a 2.60 ERA on the season. Chen is 28-15 vs. AL teams like Cleveland that hit .255 or worse. At home in his career he is 20-8 vs. teams that bat .260 or worse.
