Cleveland at Kansas City

Despite last night's loss, the Tribe unexpectedly have the easiest path to the second wildcard spot in the AL playoffs. They have two games left here vs. Kansas City, and their last 10 games are all against well-below .500 teams - the three worst in the AL. They should be hungry and focused tonight, as they need win at least one of the remaining two here. They have a big edge on the hill behind Corey Kluber who is 9-5 with a 3.55 ERA, while Kansas City reaches to triple A Omaha for Yordano Ventura. Ventura has not pitched well with a 5.51 ERA in his last three starts in Omaha. The Tribe's 8-1 mark behind Kluber in his last nine to a total of 7 to 8.5 is the clincher. Back the Indians.
