They are 29-19 on the season, but are facing some adversity for the first time. Young players have fragile egos and they are just 1-5 in their last six games, scoring a total of just six runs in the five losses as the team is in an offensive funk. Cleveland has washed away the ills of a poor start, and on the strength of a 10-3 run, the Tribe have closed to within two games of .500. Their starting pitching and bullpen have been as good as any team in the league over the last 14 games, allowing three runs or less in 12 of them. The Royals are just 1-7 in their last eight as a dog of +110 to +150, and with dormant bats against some hot pitching, they could be in trouble here once again.
