Cleveland used 10 pitchers in Thursday's doubleheader at Minnesota and now has to travel to Kansas City on no rest. The Royals have won nine of Ian Kennedy's last 12 starts, including a 5-4 win at the Chicago White Sox on Saturday when he allowed three runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings. Kansas City has won four of its last five games and 10 of its last 11 games against AL Central foes. The Indians have lost Corey Kluber's last six road starts at Kansas City and are just 3-7 his last 10 starts overall versus the Royals. This is the first time Kluber will face the Royals this year, but he gave up eight runs (five earned) on 13 hits in 12 innings at Kauffman Stadium in 2016. There is great value in the home underdog against a tired Cleveland pitching staff and Kansas City has scored 40 runs its last five games, so take the Royals.
