Cleveland at Detroit

The Tigers have clinched the AL Central, but this team continues playing with the pedal to the metal. The Tigers have been one of the hottest teams in baseball as they head down the stretch on a 25-9 run in their last 34 games. Max Scherzer has taken his lumps at times, but overall he has been highly effective at home where he has pitched to a 3.66 ERA. He has also handcuffed this Indians lineup at home, picking up two wins in three starts, allowing just 3 total runs. The Tribe was listless all the way around last night in a 14-0 pasting at the hands of the Tigers. Cleveland has failed down the stretch vs. winning teams on the road where they are now just an ugly 3-13 in their last 16.
