We were on Detroit yesterday in their 3-1 win here and I'm backing them again today. This team is red hot and in baseball, streak play a big role. The Tigers have won eight straight and 15 of their last 16 games. It doesn't get hotter than that. Meanwhile, the Indians have dropped four of six. The Tigers go with their new-found ace, Kenny Rogers who looks for win #8 and five straight W's in the young season. He seems to like his new digs as he's got a ridiculous 0.42 ERA at home this season in three starts. Countering for Cleveland is Jason Johnson who posts an overall ERA twice that of Rogers and his ERA on the road is 8.10 and over his last three starts 9.82. Over the past two seasons Johns is 1-9 on the road vs. division opponents while Rogers is 15-1 as a favorite of -150 or more over the past three sesasons. Backing him up is a great bullpen that knows how to protect a lead. They've posted a 3.11 home ERA while notching saves 9 times in 10 tries. Tigers here.
