Cleveland at Detroit

Detroit has been inconsistent for the most part this season, but now the Tigers are back to playing well again winning their last two games, including 7-1 over the Indians on Monday night as Tyler Collins hit a three-run homer. The Tigers scored five runs in the first two innings in that game. Corey Kluber pitched a shutout at the White Sox on April 21, but has allowed 16 earned runs and 28 hits in his four other starts covering 25 innings. Kluber faced Detroit in his third outing of the season and was hit hard allowing six runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings, although Cleveland won the game 13-6. Justin Verlander comes off an impressive performance agaisnt Seattle when he gave up no earned runs and five hits in seven innings. Detroit has beaten the Indians five of the last six meetings, and the Tigers are 46-21 in Verlander's last 67 home starts against winning teams. Take the Tigers.
