The Indians are good once again and will bring in a five-game winning streak. The last time they came here they swept the Tigers in three straight and on the season have crushed Tiger pitching to the tune of 48 runs in 6 games, or eight runs per game. The Tribe staff has also been good, as teams have scored three runs or less against them in 7 of the last 10. Paul Byrd has pitched well most of the season. He did have three rough starts in a row, where he was roughed up pretty good, but is back on track after two good starts. The Tigers are just 2-4 in their last six, and have been out-scored 38-21. Nate Robertson started the season very strong through his first six starts, but has seen his ERA double over his last seven. He hasn't pitched more than 5.1 innings in any of those starts and was unable to record a single out against the Rangers. Robertson has allowed 27 earned runs in his last 31 innings, good for an ERA approaching eight. To make matters worse it has put pressure on a bullpen that has been shaky as well. The Tigers’ pen has given up an additional 23 runs in his last 7 starts. The Tigers are now 2-9 in his last 11 starts.
