Cleveland at Detroit

Detroit has a new manager in A.J. Hinch and a new winning attitude in addition to some good young players, and the Tigers already have won the first two games of this series. Tarik Skubal did his best pitching at home last season where opponents had a .179 batting average against him. Aaron Civale was 4-6 with a 4.74 ERA and gave up 12 earned runs his last two starts in 2020 in only 10 innings. In one appearance against the Tigers, Civale was knocked around for four runs in six innings. Cleveland's lineup doesn't look much like it has in recent years, and the Indians are 3-10 following a loss dating to last season. We're getting good value with the home underdog. Play the Tigers.
