Chicago needs to bounce back after Friday's loss as it did in Game 2. Tonight the Cubs have the perfect guy on the mound in John Lackey. He's got big-game experience, having pitched in two World Series, including Game 7 in 2002 when the Angels beat the Giants. Lackey is 11-8 with a 3.35 ERA this season and has started two postseason games with the Cubs, winning both games against the Giants and Dodgers. Lackey was 7-4 with a 2.62 ERA at home this season and pitched better in the later months as his post All-Star break ERA is 2.76. The Cubs can take advantage of Corey Kluber pitching on short rest even though he threw only 88 pitches in six innings. The Cubs have still have won 43 of their last 57 games against right-handed starters. The Cubs left seven men in scoring position in Game 3, but look for them to break out in this matchup. Play the Cubs in Game 4.
