The Chicago Cubs scored first in Game 2 and quickly got the momentum they needed to even the series. Kyle Schwarber, who hasn't played since April, had two RBIs in a three-run fifth inning. Kyle Hendricks is 16-8 with a 2.13 ERA, and in three postseason starts, the right-hander has a 1.65 ERA while allowing just three runs and nine hits in 16 1/3 innings. In his last appearance against the Dodgers, Hendricks pitched 7 1/3 shutout innings with six strikeouts and no walks. Hendricks is 9-2 at home this season with a 1.32 ERA and .201 opponent batting average. He also didn't let up as the season went on as he was 9-2 with 1.68 ERA after the All-Star break. Josh Tomlin is 13-9 with a 4.40 ERA and has pitched twice in the postseason, but not more than 5 2/3 innings in either game. Tomlin had some inconsistency this season and was 0-5 with an 11.48 ERA in the month of August before getting back on track in September. The Indians were 53-28 at home but barely above .500 on the road at 41-39. The Cubs were 57-24 at Wrigley Field in the regular season. Also, Chicago won 43-of-56 games against right-handed starters and 18-of-24 games against AL teams. The Cubs have also won 16 of Hendricks' last 21 starts and four of his last five interleague starts. Take the Cubs to win Game 3.
