The oddsmakers are in a quandary here, as they are treating this game from perception, and not reality. The fact is that Boston is 12-18, and in the throes of a 4-10 Fenway slump, as well as winners of just two of their last 10. Cleveland enters at 17-13 and a robust 9-3 on the road. One would expect these numbers to be just the opposite, and maybe by season's end they will be, but certainly not now. The Indians have been tough on the road vs. right-hand pitching where they are 7-1 in their last eight. The Red Sox are getting pelted by teams with a winning road record at home where they have now dropped seven straight. Beckett has not been the stopper of late with Boston just 2-5 in his last seven starts. Play on Cleveland.
