Baltimore actually has won two in a row after ending its long losing streak and the Orioles had the day off after beating the Twins 6-3 on Wednesday whne they banged out 11 hits, including Ryan Mountcastle's three-run homer and D.J. Stewart's two-run shot. Keegan Akin will make his second start for the O's and he allowed a run in five hits in 4 2/3 innings his last outing against the White Sox on May 30. Jean Carlos Mejia is making his first start for Cleveland after pitching in only three games this season with five innings pitched. The last time the teams met was in 2019 and the Orioles won the first two games of the series by identical 13-0 scores before losing 2-0 in the series finale.
