We are a couple of weeks away from the All-Star break, and I’m not sure if anyone could have predicted that one of these teams would be over .500, let alone both of them. But obviously, both are better than advertised. Mitch Talbot has made four road starts for the Tribe, and has delivered impressive outings in three of them allowing a total of 3 runs. Former Yankee Ian Kennedy is out fast for the D-Backs at 8-2 with a 2.90 ERA. The Tribe has delivered in seven of their last 10 interleague showdowns vs. a team with a winning record. The D-Backs have gone up in flames at home in interleague play in eight of their last 11 vs. a team with a winning record. Those numbers suggest that the price here is out of line, so back Cleveland.
