Cleveland at Seattle

The Guardians finished 92-70 a year ago. They swept Tampa Bay 2-0 and extended the Yankees a full 5 games before losing the series 3-2. This team looks poised to advance those numbers and could make a deep run in the AL playoffs this season. They opened with a loss in Seattle 3-0 but won convincingly last night 9-4. Starting pitcher Aaron Civale finished last season leading Cleveland to a 7-2 record in his final 9 starts. He appears ready to take the next step. Logan Gilbert led Seattle to a 14-5 record in his first 19 starts, but the league appeared to catch up with him as they were just 7-7 in his last 14 starts. Cleveland has a good matchup here, and I will go with Cleveland.
