Cleveland at Minnesota

Cleveland went through a rough stretch, but has since turned it around winning four of its last five games, including 6-4 over the Twins on Saturday featuring a two-run homer by Amed Rosario and seven shutout innings by Triston McKenzie. Shane Bieber will try to match that performance as he starts today for the Guardians and he has pitched much better than his 9-8 record indicates as he owns a 2.96 ERA and 1.06 WHIP and he comes off a 4-1 win over Kansas City when he allowed one run on four hits in eight innings on Tuesday. Bieber has faced Minnesota twice this year and given up four runs in 12 innings and the Guardians' bullpen is tied for #4 in the major leagues with a 1.15 WHIP. The Twins have fallen 3 1/2 games back in the AL Central while losing seven of their last nine and Josh Winder gave up five runs in five innings his last outing against Milwaukee.
