Cleveland at Kansas City

Kansas City has won four of five as it seeks to prevent finishing the season with the worst record in the majors although the Royals did lose 7-1 to Houston on Sunday. The Royals scored 32 runs in their four-game win streak and all of them came as underdogs. They'll face Cal Quantrill, who has pitched better lately, but overall he is 3-6 with a 5.40 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. Quantrill has a 5.76 ERA and .263 opponent batting average in day games. Kansas City has won Brady Singer's past six home starts, including four as an underdog and the Guardians have lost Quantrill's past five starts versus teams with losing records.
