Cleveland at Kansas City

Cleveland is officially winless under their new name the Guardians. They will attempt to achieve their first win in Kansas City this afternoon. Zach Plesac will get the ball for the Guardians. Plesac finished the 2021 season with a pedestrian 4.67 ERA and the longball has been his nemesis, although Kansas City is not a home run hitting team. He will be opposed by Brad Keller who is off a miserable 2021 where he pitched to an 8-12 mark with a woeful 5.39 ERA.
