Cleveland at Detroit

Yesterday was not exactly prime baseball weather but these two are scheduled to play a doubleheader today, with Hunter Gaddis on the hill vs. Tigers' lefty Matthew Boyd. For Boyd, it's the second-straight game that he's had postponed so he should be rested and ready. Detroit has shown signs of life after a 2-9 start and Gaddis was pummeled in his last outing, allowing eight runs on eight hits in three innings against the Yankees. Gaddis has an 8.53 ERA on the season with a .275 opponent batting average. The Guardians have lost five of their past nine games, including 7-6 on Sunday when Jose Meneses hit a go-ahead single in the eighth, two batters after an overturned call at the plate. Three Cleveland relievers allowed four runs in two innings and while the extra rest helps that pen, I don't think think it's enough to make a difference. Take the Tigers on the run line.
