Cincinnati at St. Louis

St. Louis goes for the sweep after beating the Reds again on Saturday when Tommy Edman hit a walk-off two-run homer with two outs in the ninth. It was the fourth straight loss for Cincinnati, and it has scored only eight runs during the losing streak as the Reds fell to 8-22 on the road this season. The Cardinals are 18-11 at home and have moved into first place in the NL Central. They have Dakota Hudson on the mound today, and he is 4-2 with a 2.76 ERA. He has allowed only two runs in his last three starts (18 2/3 innings). Hudson has done especially well at home where he has given up just four runs in 26 2/3 innings with a .206 opponent batting average. Graham Ashcraft will make just his second appearance on the road for the Reds, who have lost six of the last seven meetings with St. Louis.
