Lively lost his last start 5-1 to Milwaukee and he gave up all five runs on six hits in seven innings. The Cardinals are batting .286 with a .536 slugging percentage in 28 at-bats against Lively. Cincinnati has lost 13 of its past road 18 games against left-handed starters and the Reds are 14-30 versus NL Central opponents dating to last season.
