Cincinnati at St. Louis

The Cincinnati Reds are 4-8 on the season and have lost the first two games of their series in St. Louis, who will go for the sweep behind Adam Wainwright. Wainwright went from a 20-game winner in 2010, to the disabled list the entire 2011 season and it is obvious he is not in big league form as of yet. Wainwright has been getting pounded and is 0-2 with an 11.42 ERA on the season. Cincinnati counters with Bronson Arroyo who has pitched well in his first two starts and carries a 2.63 ERA into today's game. Arroyo is a savvy veteran and has pitched the Reds to a 4-0 mark in his last four in Game 3 of a series. Wainwright was given a fifth day of rest, but even when he was right that hasn't been a good place for him with the Cardinals 0-5 the last five times he has pitched with an extra day of rest. Play on Cincinnati.
