Cincinnati at St. Louis

The Cardinals got off to a sluggish 1-3 start, but have had a reversal of fortune in their last four at 3-1. The Cards and the Reds are even in this series, with the Reds having won just three series here since 2003. As a result, I like the Cardinals' chances in this one. Homer Bailey has had very little success vs. St. Louis where he is 3-7 with a 5.00 ERA, and the Cards have hit more home runs against him than any other team with 11. He is also 13-15 in day games in his major league career as opposed to 26-18 in night action. The Cardinals are 37-16 at home and have a lot of things going for them in this one. Play on St. Louis.
