Cincinnati at St. Louis

The Cincinnati Reds are not off to the start they would have liked to have and have been beaten badly thus far by St. Louis. While it is very early in the season, I think the Reds will be feeling a sense of urgency when they take the field today against the Cardinals. They have been knocking on the door as all five games against St. Louis this season have been decided by 2 runs or less. Mike Leake will help lengthen the Reds lineup as his 57 hits as a pitcher tops the majors over the last four years. The Reds have been good at salvaging game 3 after dropping the first two in a series as they are 6-1 in their last seven in this spot, as well as 55-25 after allowing 5+ in their previous game over their last 80.
