Aaron Harang has been pitching well and Kevin Correia not so well for the Padres. When you look at the big picture Harang has a career ERA of just .40 runs per game better than Correia. When you put him on the road vs. Correia at home, that swings in favor of the Padres here. Add in the fact that Correia, regardless of his numbers, is 3-1 vs. the Reds. The Reds have not fared well with Harang on the mound, after he made a quality start in his last appearance, as they are just 5-13 and 0-5 in his last five as a road favorite. The Padres have shown fight when posted as a home dog, winning five of their last six. This one might not look pretty, but it is, so the Padres get the call.
