Pittsburgh's only motivation the last week or so was to avoid losing 100 games, but that has gone by the wayside, so now the rebuilding Pirates just want to end their dreadful season. Cincinnati doesn't want to finish with a five-game losing streak, and it will face Mitch Keller today, who is 5-11 with a hefty 6.27 ERA overall and 2-8 and 8.16 at home. Keller was bombarded for six runs on nine hits in just four innings his last outing against the Cubs on Tuesday, and Cincinnati hitters are batting .352 against him while scoring 15 runs on 25 hits in 19 innings this season. Reiver Sanmartin has started one game and gave up one run on five hits in 5 2/3 innings against the Pirates on Monday.
