Milwaukee had a four-game winning streak coming into this series, but the Reds have stymied the Brewers, who have scored only three runs in the two games. Brad Boxberger hit two batters in the 10th that resulted in Tuesday's 2-1 loss. However, Freddy Peralta is on the mound today and he is 6-1 with a 2.25 ERA and .134 opponent batting average. The right-hander has 98 strikeouts in 68 innings and has allowed just six runs in 39 1/3 innings at home this season. In two appearances against the Reds, Peralta has given up three runs in 8 2/3 innings. Tyler Mahle has a 5.90 ERA in six day games this year and the Brewers have won nine of their past 12 versus right-handed starters. Look for Milwaukee to salvage the final game of the series and play the Brewers.
