Cincinnati at Milwaukee

Milwaukee is happy to be back home after an unlikely sweep by the Pirates extended the Brewers' losing streak to four games. Milwaukee still is tied for first place in the NL Central and will send Eric Lauer to the mound to get the team back on track. He has a 7-3 record overall and is 3-1 with a 2.85 ERA at home while allowing only 15 earned runs in 47 1/3 innings. Lauer had a rough month of June, but he bounced back with a good July when he gave up nine earned runs in 27 1/3 innings. Cincinnati is going with Robert Dugger, who will be making his first start this season, and he has allowed six runs on 15 hits in 12 innings of relief. The Brewers have won seven of the last nine meetings, and they are 36-17 in their past 53 home games against teams with losing records.
