While high expectations preceded the Marlins' season a year ago, those expectations were gone as they cleaned out the roster, and decided to go in a different, inexperienced, youthful campaign. They have played somewhat better over their last 15 games as a .400 team, and the Reds have not been much better as a road team where they are just .412, so the distance between these teams is not as great as the odds posted here. The Reds haven't fared well behind Leake against the NL East where they are just 1-5 in his last six starts against them. The odds are favorable here for the home dog, so play on Miami.
