Cincinnati at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers have the most talent in the AL, but they sure haven't displayed that separation in the early going. They have a major asset in Miguel Cabrera, and when he gets hot, he is capable of carrying a team for a few weeks. Cabrera is in one of those streaks right now, as he is 9 for his last 15, with eight RBI over his last four games. The Reds have been lost at 28-35 and have had to deal with a lot of injuries. Michael Lorenzen has been inserted into the rotation, but is winless in his last five starts and two relief appearances. Kyle Ryan earned another start off a brilliant two run, three hit outing vs. the White Sox. The Reds have been in over their head as a dog where they are a woeful 25-53 in their last 78. The Tigers reign supreme in interleague home games vs. a winning team where they are a sizzling 40-11 in their last 51. Play on Detroit.
