Coors Field is not quite the launching pad it once was, and the Rockies' lineup is also not quite as imposing as it once was either. Couple that with a somewhat upgraded pitching staff, and these big totals become a tough chore to topple. Greg Reynolds has a strong reputation, and why not? He posted a 12-3 mark with a 1.05 WHIP in AAA, and had a breakout start his last time out, allowing 2 runs and just 5 hits over 6 innings. Juan Nicasio does not have good numbers until you look at what he has done at home. Nicasio is 4-1 with a 3.56 ERA here, and a stellar 1.10 WHIP in 11 starts. This one has more of the look of a pitcher-dominated game, and the total is too high, so play this one UNDER the total.
