Cincinnati at Chicago

Chicago lost 4-3 to the Reds last night, but the Cubs had won seven in a row and clearly haven't given up on the season while having some good young prospects on the team. Cincinnati has dropped into a tie for a Wild Card spot, and has lost seven of its past 10 games. They'll face Alec Mills, who has been inconsistent while throwing 8 1/3 shutout innings against the White Sox before experiencing a rough outing versus Pittsburgh on Friday. However, Mills had a 3.76 ERA in July and August and Cincinnati hitters are batting just .220 against him in 102 at-bats. Vladimir Gutierrez has given up nine runs (eight earned) on 11 hits his last 6 1/3 innings against Miami and Detroit. Chicago has won six straight versus right-handed starters and are 38-33 overall at home. Take the Cubs.
