Cincinnati is trying to avoid finishing last in the NL Central and has lost five in a row while scoring a total of only nine runs in that span. Chase Anderson has pitched in seven games with the Reds and allowed 13 runs (12 earned) in 23 innings. Chicago has won Marcus Stroman's last three starts, including 2-1 over the Phillies on Tuesday when he allowed one run on four hits in seven innings.
