What comes up, must come down, and thus has been the fate of the Cincinnati Reds. Cincinnati used a sizzling 25-game stretch where they went 22-3 to become the team with the best record and baseball. That has changed dramatically as that run has ended with a thud, as the Reds have been 0-5 since. The offense has come down to earth, and the Reds’ bats have been silenced over the last five games, producing just 11 total runs, or barely over 2 per contest. The Cubs got back in the win column yesterday, and have played their best baseball over the last 35 games at 19-16. They have also been 10-3 in their last 13 here as a home dog. The Reds are just 4-10 behind Bailey when facing a team that scored 5 or more in their previous game. Play the Cubs on the runline.
