The Toronto Blue Jays could find themselves a bit flat opening this series with the Chicago White Sox. The Jays just completed a hard fought series vs. division rival New York, and will turn to J.A. Happ for this one. Toronto has really come back down to Earth in their last 18 games where they own just a 6-12 record. Happ has pitched poorly with a 4.87 ERA on the season, and has yet to record a win vs. Chicago where he owns a 6.75 ERA against them. Scott Carroll gets back in the rotation as he appears to have sorted out his ills in the pen where he made six appearances, pitching to a 1.83 ERA. The Jays have not played especially well at home where they are 22-18 on the season, and in Happ's last 13 home starts they are a woeful 3-10. The White Sox have a strong track record in this series in taking 7 of the last 10, including five of the last seven over the border. Make the play on the White Sox.
