Chicago goes for three straight in Texas tonight and I like 'em to get it. After a not-so-great start to the season for the World Champs, they are playing great ball of late having won six of eight. Yes, they are on the road but great teams win on the road. Javier Vazquez has a more than solid 3.82 road ERA. Vicente Padilla hasn't been very good. He's got a 5.15 overall ERA and over his last three games, 7.16, giving up nearly a run per inning. Texas is just 15-18 at home while Chicago is 16-14 on the road. So, we get the pitcher who has done better, a better record and more offense here at even money. In what's expected to be a high-scoring game, we get a big advantage with the Sox, too as they are 9-1 over the past three seasons when the posted total is 11 or higher. And, the Rangers are now 0-9 this season as a home dog.
