Both of these starters have had their issues this year. Jon Garland has had a worse than average year and comes of a game in which Detroit tagged him for six earned runs in seven innings. Kameron Loe has also been average at best overall and he was hammered by Kansas City last game to the tune of eight earned runs in 2.7 innings. Versus Kansas City no less! I think the Sox have offensive success today. They are scoring 5.3 per game on the road and 5.9 vs. right handed starters. They have a winning record on the road while Texas has a losing record at home. Garland isn't as bad as he's been pitching. He'll break out of his slump. Afterall, he's 10-3 over the past two seasons on the road vs. winning teams and 9-3 as an underdog. Chicago knows how to win these close games.
